Board of Directors

Robert Bender, Chairman and CEO, has more than three decades of experience in founding and managing life sciences companies. His focus has been on the development of new ventures and he has participated in the management of a number of start-up companies.

John P. Molloy, MBA, is President and CEO of PARTEQ Innovations, the technology transfer office of Queen’s University. Mr. Molloy has been responsible for the commercialization of intellectual property at Queen’s University since 1986. Mr. Molloy is also a member of the Board of Directors of numerous companies, both private and public. For many years he has advised both Ontario and Canadian governments on technology transfer and related policies for building a more innovative economy.

Bill Dickie, BComm, MBA, is an experienced biotechnology executive. He is President of Atreus Phamaceuticals, a company developing agents for molecular imaging. Prior to this he had a 20 year career with MDS Nordion. He sits on the Board of Governors of Carleton University and the Board of the Ottawa Children’s Treatment Centre foundation.

Doug McNair, MD, PhD is Senior Vice President of Cerner Corp. where he is responsible for Cerner’s Clinical Research and Biostatistics operations. Doug has extensive experience in Regulatory Affairs in both drugs and devices. His interests and expertise include statistics of small data sets and data mining. He is Board Certified in Pathology and Internal Medicine.
